Inspection:

Ensuring quality and reliability are vital to the success of every project, initiative or assignment at Maloya. Our quality manual and procedures are ISO compliant and have been audited by a number of our customers. Full document inspection reports are available upon request.

Our inspection equipment is NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) traceable. Full Statistical Process Control (SPC) documentation is available for critical and long run components production, including a bar-coded MIS system. Quality and reliability are more than just words at Maloya: They are a way of life.

We have a CAR/CAN (corrective action request/corrective action notification) system in place, driven by the front line fabricators. We utilize MS Access database for our CAR/CAN, which provides quantifiable metrics for quality and process improvement. We also provide quarterly management audits.

CAD Programming

Programming to print is done utilizing several CAD programs, including Solidworks, Mastercam, Bysoft and AutoCAD. In addition to DXF and DWG, Maloya can accept CAD data in an extensive variety of formats. Other programming and CAD services that Maloya provides include: Digitizing of mylars, digitizing and scanning of flat pattern parts, and original art work. We can also reverse engineer fabricated components.

Maloya can readily work with customer outputs from many other CAD systems such as Inventor, CATIA, Rhino, Pro/E, etc. We offer full 3D modeling capabilities to ensure form, fit and function before the first piece of material is cut. Parametric modeling facilitates design collaboration with clients either onsite or through virtual meetings.

Laser

With automated loading and dual hydraulically alternating beds (sizes 78" x 157") there is no downtime on production runs. With minimal set time and virtually no tooling cost, Maloya is very cost effective in prototyping and production runs.

Bending

Maloya has the capability of bending up to 12 feet in length. Materials include steel, aluminum, stainless steel, brass, high temperature alloys and others. With 220 tons of RAM and 8-axis CNC controlled back gauges, MLI can bend a variety of small and large parts in both thin and thick metals. Our state-of-the-art 8-axis backgauging allows multipoint banking to support complex bending geometry. Bend geometry is qualified prior to production via 3D CAD simulation.

Welding

Our welding capabilities are extensive including plate and sheet metal, steel and stainless steel. We use laser cutting technology to produce highly accurate fixtures to ensure compliance with your tolerance requirements.

Maloya cuts materials with extreme precision, including difficult to machine materials like stainless steels and titanium, as well as aluminum and plastics. We are heavily invested in CAD/CAM software as well as the newest CNC machine industry tools and equipment. Our state-of-the-art inspection guarantees that your parts meet the exacting tolerances they were intended to meet.

ERP

As part of our commitment to meet or exceed our customer expectations, we track all jobs throughout our facility. Our MieTrak production planning system provides real-time data collection and tracking from quotation through shipment. MieTrak (formerly known as FabriTrak) is the market leading software for metal fabricators and manufacturers. It has been adapted to incorporate all of our manufacturing processes.

 Including:

  • Barcode scanning for tracking through each work center
  • Process control through standardized work instructions
  • Incorporates MRP, Scheduling, Shop Floor Data Capture, Barcoding, Job Costing, Quoting, Estimating and timeclocking.
