The Maloya team was brought in to manufacture custom planters to be used on a commercial building terrace in Manhattan. These metal planters bring the terrace to life,  helping to establish a comfortable yet stylish atmosphere for clients, building employees, and guests.

CHALLENGE

Tight schedule to fabricate large format planters that required multiple sections assembled together at the job site.

Alum welding of 1/4" plates.

Surface grinding to remove the weld protrusion on the finish side, powder coating large sections.

Oversized handling and packaging to Mid Manhattan job site.

OUR SOLUTIONS

Maloya can handle large format projects in each of our work centers to maximize the sections so there is less assembly at the job site which costs more than the shop work.

Strong knowledge in welding and finishing to satisfy customer requirements.

Scheduling system that tracks the many pieces for tight delivery requirements.
