Corten façade with integrated SS window surrounds. 13 vertical sections connected together comprises the Façade of a passive house design in the heart of Williamsburg.
The installation location was very restricted in terms of allowing for permanent cranes access and/or scaffolding.

CHALLENGE
A requirement for a modular facade system made up of 13 units up to 5'x30'.
Large project the requires sections to be built for transportation, Rigging and installation.
Working with 30-foot-long section in the manufacturing process.
OUR SOLUTIONS
Maloya developed the full system in Solidworks based on only supplied 2D cad files and a single 3D STEP model.
Collaborate with Engineering firm, Architect, contractor to solve design for manufacturing and assembly challenges as well as the logistics of deployment.
Develop internal weld protocol for large structure welding.
