UBS Arena – Belmont Park
The Maloya team was contracted to fabricate elegant, detailed brass mirrors for the soon-to-launch Belmont Park Arena. At the time the project came to the Maloya team, the design was in the 50% submission phase from the architect and required Maloya's design-assist services to solve for the connection detail to assemble the frame around the mirror. The design called for the frames to be minimal and also required elegant connection detail while also providing a simple way to replace the mirrors. Maloya's team was able to create a solution that met the project requirements and the results are beautiful.

CHALLENGE
Using 3D modeling software, SolidWORKS, Maloya was able to develop the connection detail by selecting the proper raw stock material, work center processes and hardware. The frame was constructed with brass structural extrusions and had to be rolled to the shape of the oval mirror. Maloya's unique blend of equipment facilitated the requirements for a successful project.
