Ring Wall – Display for “Art Basel” Miami
Since 1970, “Art Basel” has been the Art World’s premier platform for bringing together artists and their patrons across three continents, Europe, Asia and North America. “Art Basel” is the only venue with such a global reach.
Maloya was chosen to fabricate an intricate display wall consisting of hundreds of tubular rings fitted together in a complex pattern. The use of 3D modeling of the display wall and the task of connecting each ring together in a visually appealing way was Maloya’s solution to the challenge. An additional challenge was to design the display wall as modular so it could be moved from one venue to another.
